Sustainability: Take the lead.

Sustainability challenges us to make decisions that simultaneously improve the economy, the community and the environment – to see beyond our normal field of vision.

Major transformational trends in the world are forcing changes in our businesses, academic and government models.  Some trends relate to energy sources, climate change, natural resource depletion, and the lesser understood, peak oil.  These trends have momentum and addressing the organizational changes and limits that may shape the future requires challenging established ways of thinking.

Organizations and communities that take the lead will both avoid some of the negative impact of these trends, and benefit from the new industries and technologies that emerge in the next decade.

The Canadian Institute for Sustainability and Resilience (CISR) is a hub for business, academia, government and non-profit leaders.  We help organizations strategically align capital investments, operations, research, policy, services, funding & partnerships within the wide angled lens of sustainability.

CISR unites organizations through innovation.

Together, we’ll model the future.
